Monarch butterflies are currently encountering numerous obstacles that have led to a considerable decrease in their population over the past twenty years. Enhancing breeding habitats and food supplies such as milkweed and nectar sources along their migration path is crucial to aiding in the recovery of monarch populations. The platform known as HabiTally provides a means for farmers, ranchers, landowners, and individuals to contribute to these initiatives by inputting information regarding their efforts in conserving monarch habitats.

The information gathered via HabiTally will be anonymized and consolidated at the county level. This data will be shared with relevant stakeholders engaged in monarch conservation and habitat preservation activities, all while preserving the anonymity of those who contributed.
